TORONTO, Ont. — Fleets interested in incorporating the use of biodiesel into their operations are invited to a workshop in Toronto May 24.

Biodiesel is used extensively in Europe and the U.S. and the trucking industry in Canada has shown recent interest in the environmentally-friendly fuel. Using biodiesel results in decreased greenhouse gas emissions as well as other forms of harmful emissions.

Delegates at the workshop will hear first-hand accounts from fleets that have used biodiesel. Experts will be on-hand to discuss implementation issues in deployment and will also address technical issues and concerns.

To register, visit www.fleetchallenge.ca or call 1-416-686-4116. The conference is being held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and is hosted by Fleet Challenge Ontario.
