Bison creates rewards program for mechanics too
WINNIPEG — Bison Transport has a new Mechanic Safety Award Program (MSAP) designed to promote and reward Bison’s mechanics for their performance and commitment to the fleet.
Similar to Bison Transport’s Safe Driving Reward Program (SDRP), where drivers are recognized for their continued contributions to safety, mechanics are also recognized for their contributions towards creating a safe workplace as well as dedication to upholding Bison’s reputation of being one of the safest fleets in North America.
"At Bison, safety is our top priority. The very best training and equipment would be meaningless if we did not empower our people to make those decisions that impact safety." says Don Streuber, president & CEO, in a press release.
Many of Bison’s mechanics will be awarded for their contributions to safety this year at Bison’s annual regional award ceremonies.
