Bison driver honored for 2-million safe miles

WINNIPEG — Roger Maltman, a driver with Winnipeg’s Bison Transport, has reached 2 million accident free consecutive safe driving miles with the company.

Bison Transport will be formally recognizing Maltman’s achievement at its annual awards banquet.

A driver with Bison Transport since 1994, Maltman is currently rolling across the Prairie highways as part of Bison’s long combination vehicle (LCV) network where he hauls a combination of two 53-foot trailers.

"We congratulate Roger on his achievement. As a professional driver, Roger is a role model setting a benchmark in safety that very few achieve." says Garth Pitzel, Director Safety and Driver Development for Bison.
