Bison teams with OTA for scholarship opportunity

TORONTO — Bison Transport is partnering with the OTA Education Foundation to sponsor an annual scholarship of up to $1,000 for post-secondary education.

The scholarship will be awarded to a post-secondary student who demonstrates commitment to their academic studies and community, and who is enrolled in full-time studies in a Transportation, Logistics, Human Resources, or Business program at a recognized university or college in Canada.

“At Bison, we believe that corporate success can only be attained with a commitment to people which results in a dedicated, reliable, motivated and skilled workforce,” says Rob Penner, Bison vice-president of operations. “We view this scholarship as an extension to our commitment to lifelong learning, as expressed in our corporate core values.”

The Bison Transport Scholarship will be awarded annually and is funded by an endowed fund administered by the OTA Education Foundation.
