TORONTO, Ont. — Bison Transport will be sponsoring an annual scholarship of up to $1,000 in conjunction with the OTA Education Foundation. The scholarship will be awarded to a post-secondary student who demonstrates commitment to his/her academic studies and community, and who is enrolled in full-time studies in a transportation, logistics, human resources, or business program at a recognized university or college in Canada.

“At Bison, we believe that corporate success can only be attained with a commitment to people which results in a dedicated, reliable, motivated and skilled work force,” says Rob Penner, vice-president of operations. “Our company-funded Staff Educational Assistance Program is just one example of the priority we put on learning. We view this scholarship as an extension to our commitment to lifelong learning, as expressed in our corporate core values.”

The Bison Transport Scholarship will be awarded annually and is funded by an endowed fund administered by the OTA Education Foundation. The scholarship application form is available at http://ontruck.org/education/foundation.php.
