WINNIPEG, Man. – Bison Transport raised almost $110,000 for the Cancer Care Manitoba fundraiser when it took part of the 2014 Challenge for Life –  a 20 kilometre walk  through the streets of Winnipeg this past Saturday, June 7.

Calling themselves the Blazing Bisons, the corporate team consisted of 63 Bison employees (including family and friends) who had a goal to break $100,000.

The team was thrilled to exceed their goal as the final numbers revealed they had  actually raised an impressive $107,444.

“Bison Transport is tremendously proud of our Blazing Bison team for all their effort and hard work towards the Challenge for Life,” said Don Streuber, president and CEO of Bison Transport. “We would like to thank our industry partners, suppliers, customers, friends and family for their generosity in helping us raise over $107,000 for Cancer Care Manitoba.”

Bison has participated in the walk since its inception five years ago and collectively has raised more than $420,000 for Cancer Care Manitoba.
