FERGUS, Ont. — Canada’s biggest truck show is on the verge of cancellation this year, as show organizers have yet to reach a deal with the site’s landowners.

The Guelph Mercury reported today that show organizers are seeking a new venue for the event. Fergus Truck Show organizers said the event drew more than 70,000 people this year and raised $45,000 for local charitable groups.

Farmers who own the land have complained about damage to their fields as well as unruly campers, according to the report in the Guelph Mercury.

More details will be available later today.
