MONTREAL, Que. — Master Promotions and Bomart Group are combining to launch North America’s largest trucking, transportation and logistics trade show Salon CAM-Logique.

The inaugural show will be held Apr. 26-28, 2007 at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium. Organizers say the timing and venue of Salon CAM-Logique will provide many advantages for exhibitors, including: a spring date which is ideal for introducing new products; and the strategic location of Olympic Stadium which provides all amenities required for a successful show including technical support, ample parking, easy access to the subway, no height or space restrictions and corporate suites to entertain clients. All this will be available at a very reasonable booth price, organizers insist.

“The goal of this show is to present attendees with a one-stop shopping experience that will allow professionals in the fields of transportation and logistics to see everything suppliers have to offer, from trucks and truck components to forklifts, conveyors, warehouse management systems and more,” says show manager, Mark Cusack. “Over the years, carriers have become much more than just than a link of the supply chain. Today, many of them have expanded their service portfolio by adding value-added logistics services such as warehousing and distribution. This reality is what lead us to develop Salon CAM-Logique. As the marketplace changes, so must the trade shows that serve them.”

Pierre Gravel, publisher of L’Echo du Transport and Gestion & Logistique magazines, says the show has been welcomed by the industry.

“We already have more than 100 companies involved in the organization. They were excited by this new concept the minute we presented it and booth sales have already begun,” he says. “The beauty of a venue such as the Olympic Stadium is that it allows Salon CAM-Logique to offer almost unlimited exhibit space and attract a tremendous number of attendees. In addition we will present the greatest indoor Show & Shine competition in Canada, an exhibit of antique trucks and a lavish reception with renowned guest artists. This is going to be a huge show, in every sense of the word.”
