NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) has announced the reorganization of the Bridgestone Commercial Group.

BATO is undergoing several personnel changes within its commercial tire operations “to strengthen structural clarity, efficiency and profitability,” the company announced.

Within Bridgestone Commercial Solutions (BACS), John Boynton has accepted the role of vice-president of sales for TBR, retread and construction tires. Within BATO’s Company Owned Operations Group (COO), Doyle Bradford has accepted the position of vice-president of sales and operations.

Finally, a new position has been created to assist in developing and executing long-term strategies for all commercial businesses. Stacey Simmons has accepted the role of director of strategic planning.

“Under this new structure, we have created a very dynamic and effective leadership team for our commercial tire organization,” said Ken Weaver, president of BATO’s US and Canada commercial tire sales division. “With these changes, our business will also be more streamlined, more responsive to changing market conditions and better positioned to achieve our goal of providing customers with comprehensive, solution-based offerings.”
