British truckers protest fuel prices
LONDON, England — If you thought diesel was expensive here, imagine paying US$8.99/gallon. That’s the reality for truckers in the United Kingdom.
Yesterday, U.K. truckers staged rallies in London to protest the outrageous cost of diesel.
Under an organization called TransAction 2007, the truckers called upon government there to subsidize fuel costs.
