(June 5, 2002) — DENSO Sales California, an affiliate of the DENSO Corp., one of the world’s world’s largest starter and alternator manufacturer, has announced the availability of its Pad Mount Brushless Alternator for the over-the-road truck market, designed specifically for use on today’s class 8 truck engine.
The Pad Mount signifies that the alternator is mounted directly to the engine block providing durability in high vibration applications. It features compact and lightweight design, long life brushless design, 80 amp output at 1800 rpm (engine idle), heavy duty front and rear bearings, corrosion resistant windings, and non-soldered connections.
