BSM Wireless secures marketing, data deal with Telus

WOODBRIDGE, Ont. — BSM Technologies, a Canadian provider of GPS-based automatic vehicle security and tracking has entered into a national marketing and data solutions agreement with Telus.

The deal allows BSM and Telus to jointly market, sell, promote and support BSM’s SentinelFM AVL and Secure Fleet Management Solution through respective sales channels and Internet properties.

Michael Bookbinder, director of sales of BSM wireless, says the agreement provides training and a robust SentinelFM demonstration site to all Telus sales channels for training, customer demos and to generally gain experience with using the product.

Based on that, Telus sales channels are now ramping up to open new opportunities in all transportation and service sectors. “This is a ‘win-win’ situation for both parties,” said Bookbinder.

The agreement allows both party’s sales organizations to utilize each others logos and other marketing materials to promote mutual product offerings.
In order to provide ongoing support to Telus customers implementing BSM SentinelFM solutions, users across Canada can rely on BSM’s 1-866 number service and sales channel support hotline. Telus Customer Care will continue to provide clients with technical support on the network on a 24/7 basis.
