VICTORIA, B.C. — B.C. has a new transport minister, following a Cabinet shuffle last week.

Former Minister of Transportation, Judith Reid, has been replaced by Kevin Falcon, who is the former Minister of State for Deregulation. The B.C. Trucking Association (BCTA) is eager to begin working with the new minister, with whom the association already has a track record.

Falcon once appointed BCTA president, Paul Landry, to a deregulation task force. Landry hopes to meet with Falcon as soon as possible to bring him up to speed on the BCTA’s transportation policies.
