Caldwell returns to NAL
LONDON, Ont. — A familiar figure in the Canadian trucking insurance industry is going back to his roots.
Glenn Caldwell is rejoining NAL Insurance after spending the last 16 years with National Truck League as national account sales manager.
Caldwell started with NAL 24 years ago.
Effective this week, Caldwell is the new VP of Sales, according to NAL President Gary Lindsay.
"Glenn Caldwell is a known leader in our industry, his exceptional work ethic and his unwavering commitment to meet the needs of customers will benefit all of our clients at NAL. We are certainly excited about his homecoming,” said Lindsay.
(The staff here at todaystruckng.com echoes Lindsay’s comment but adds that Caldwell’s a really nice guy, to boot.)
In his new role, Caldwell focused exclusively on meeting the needs of large and small trucking companies and owner-operators. In his new position at NAL, Caldwell will continue to be hands-on.
“Working with clients to develop programs that help them manage their financial performances while mitigating risk will be my overriding priority,” said Caldwell.
UPDATE: A previous version of this article indicated that Mr. Caldwell was previously self-employed and signed on to NAL as a "free agent." We have been notified that he was in fact with National Truck League. We regret the error.
