Calling all truckers on missing person case

WINNIPEG, Man. — A Winnipeg family is asking truckers for help finding Arun Sud, 40, who went missing from his home March 11.

Sud is an East Indian male, slender and five feet eight inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds. He has black disheveled hair, is balding, has brown eyes and wears eyeglasses. He walks hunched over and avoids direct eye contact.

He was last seen wearing a blue parka, white pants, black running shoes and a Kodiak backpack.

He is also diagnosed with schizophrenia, but is probably not taking his medication. He may be dazed and confused, but family members say he is docile and withdrawn when not on medication.

The Sud family has appealed to the Manitoba Trucking Association as well as the Canadian trucking Alliance, to ask for their help in asking truck drivers to report any sightings of Sud to local police.

The family believes Sud may have left Winnipeg.

Visit www.helpfindarun.com for pictures of Sud. Sightings of Sud should be reported to local police. Sud is registered as a missing person with the Winnipeg police force.
