LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. — Mack Trucks, Inc. has announced Cambridge Mack in Cambridge, Ont. as the Mack Canada Distributor of the Year. Cambridge Mack was chosen as a part of the 2004 Distributor of the Year awards.
Dealer Principal John Slotegraaf opened the Cambridge dealership in 1993 and has since continued to add and enhance locations and services to create the largest Mack dealer organization in Canada. According to Mack Trucks Inc., Cambridge Mack has a firm commitment to both customer and community service, which is one of the key reasons that 2004 marks the second time they’ve been named Mack Canada Distributor of the Year.
Every year, Mack acknowledges the efforts and contributions of its dealer network by honouring high performing distributors in its U.S., Canada and International business units. Categories included in the selection criteria include sales, facilities, personnel, leasing, service, parts, general management, customer satisfaction and community service.
“We have worked very hard over the past few years to strengthen our dealer network and enhance the level of service provided to our customers,” said Kevin Flaherty, Mack senior vice president of sales. “The quality of all of our 2004 award winners is an indication of how successful we’ve been in this regard. And I as well as the rest of the Mack family commend them for their efforts.”
