CamExpo ready to roll

QUEBEC CITY — The eastern Canada truck industry’s gaze will be shifting to the provincial capital this week when the 12th edition of CamExpo opens Friday morning at the Centre de foires de Quebec.

More than 200 exhibitors from across the continent will fill the 125,000-sq.-ft exhibit hall so visitors will be able to get a look at the latest gear; the most important trucking trends and, of course, industry gossip.

The show runs three days: Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Among the many attractions will be a VIP lunch presentation on Friday, starring hockey legend Jacques Demers.

Later on Friday, at 2:00 p.m., FP-Innovations — Feric will deliver an update on the newest developments in greenhouse-reduction and fuel-consumption technologies.

Admission/registration is $20 per person; $5 for students and kids under six get in free.
