WHISTLER, B.C. — B.C. Premier, Gordon Campbell, has pledged to commit hundreds of millions of dollars towards fixing the Sea-to-Sky Highway.

When delivering a speech to the Union of B.C. Municipalities on Sept. 26, Campbell said northern and rural roads across the province need attention.

He went on to say there are $670 million in improvements required for the Trans-Canada Highway through the Kicking Horse Pass region alone.

"We’re going to spend a lot of money just fixing things up," Campbell told the audience. He went on to say the province hopes the feds will match the contribution from the province.
