Can-Am C-TPAT border summit slated for Sept
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Registration for the third annual C-TPAT Northern Border Conference is now open.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection‘s Buffalo C-TPAT field office is once again hosting the conference for all interested C-TPAT members in Niagara Falls, N.Y. on Sept. 15 2011 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
The tentative agenda includes main stage presentations in the morning, followed by break out workshops in the afternoon.
Current topics include:
Portal Harmonization and Update; Trusted Trader programs to include FAST; Verification of Security Measures; State of C-TPAT presentation; Threats to Cross Border Operations presentation; and container Inspection and Seal Usage.
Registration is limited to 300 participants and current C-TPAT members will receive priority for registration, says CBP.
