Canadian APU maker RigMaster Power shuts down

TORONTO, Ont. — Trucknews.com has learned that Canadian auxiliary power unit (APU) manufacturer RigMaster Power has shut its doors.

 

Dealers have confirmed that they received a memo notifying them the company will cease operations.

 

Calls to RigMaster throughout the day yesterday went unanswered.

 

RigMaster was founded in 1993 and rolled out its first APU in 1994. The company operated as RigMaster Power Corp. in Canada and RigMaster Power Inc. in the US. It had corporate offices in Toronto with administrative offices and manufacturing facilities in Toronto and Olathe, Kansas.
