Canadian Driver Gets Into Schneider’s Haul of Fame

GREEN BAY, WI – Durham, ON -based truck driver John Wilson is among 179 elite drivers inducted into Schneider’s new recognition initiative, the Haul of Fame.

Schneider launched the Haul of Fame to honor “legends in the trucking industry”- drivers with three-million safe miles or 20 years of safe driving behind them.

“This is the Schneider way of recognizing driver associates who reached milestones in safety and excellence that very few in our industry have achieved,” said Chris Lofgren, president and CEO of Schneider.

Wilson started with Schneider in 1994 and was inducted into the Haul of Fame this year. His name and driving accomplishments will be inscribed in a tribute plaque wall located inside Schneider’s corporate headquarters in Green Bay, WI.

“The industry standard for safe miles is one-million,” said Todd Jadin, Schneider’s vice president of associate relations and talent management. “Clearly the drivers in our Haul of Fame have reached a level far beyond that.”

“The Haul of Fame distinction and tribute wall provides us the opportunity to shine a very bright spotlight on these incredible drivers,” Jadin said.

Schneider wants to add 10 to 15 drivers to its Haul of Fame each year and plans to recognize the inductees at the company’s annual Million Mile Banquets. In addition to the banquet. Each inductee receives a plaque just like the one in the Haul itself.
