Canadian facility wins truck service ‘expert’ award

EARTH CITY, Mo. — HDA Truck Pride, a major North American independent provider of parts and service to the commercial vehicle aftermarket, named Wayne Marshall of Marshall Truck and Trailer Repair in Hamilton, Ont. as the 2010 Truck Service Expert of the Year.

Marshall was honored during the HDA Truck Pride Annual Membership Meeting.

In 1984, at the age of 14, Marshall started in the family business washing trucks. He eventually went to school to become a mechanic. Today, the original single-pump fuel station with a two-bay shop has grown into a flourishing seven-pump fuel station with nine service and repair bays, two wash bays, and two diagnostic bays.

Truck Service Experts is an independent repair shop program networking over 400 service providers throughout the U.S. and Canada, sponsored by HDA Truck Pride.
