Canadian outsourcing trends to be explored at breakfast seminar

Transportation Media editorial director Lou Smyrlis and Pete Dalmazzi, vice president & general manager, Ryder Canada, will be headlining Supply Chain & Logistics Canada’s Inside Outsourcing breakfast seminar tomorrow.<br>

Smyrlis will preview the results of the second annual Survey of Canadian Third-Party Logistics, which includes considerable input from Canadian motor carriers. <br>
<br>
The national survey, conducted in partnership with The Logistics Institute and SCL, includes responses from more than 800 supply chain professionals representing a variety of industry sectors across Canada. It details user perspectives on 3PL services and benchmarking of supply chain improvements gained through outsourcing.<br>
<br>
Dalmazzi will provide insights into the results from the 3PL service provider perspective. Ryder is the survey’s founding sponsor.<br>
<br>
The event takes place at the Toronto Board of Trade Airport Centre at 830 Dixon Road. It starts at 7:30 a.m.<br>

All attendees will receive a handout containing results from the Survey of Canadian Third-Party Logistics and comparisons with outsourcing practices in other major industrialized nations. <br>
