Canadian Pacific Railway joins container pool

FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 15, 2001) — Canadian Pacific Railway has joined the North American Container System, a pool of 48- and 53-foot domestic containers.

The network’s 10 members include the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway, CSX Intermodal, Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana, and Canadian
National Railway.

NACS was created in February 1996 as a North American doublestack network encompassing almost every major U.S. market.
