PORTLAND, Ore. — Canadian supplier Indiana Parker Hannifin was recently recognized by Daimler Trucks North America as a Master of Quality supplier for 2008.

Daimler recognized 35 North American component suppliers through the program. Indiana Parker Hannifin was a three-year recipient this year. The awards recognize the truck maker’s top suppliers and are the highest honours the OEM can bestow on a supplier.

“The level of excellence that our Masters of Quality award winners maintain across their product lines play a large role in enabling us to deliver high quality trucks that provide our customers with significant competitive advantages,” said Roger Nielsen, chief operating officer for DTNA.

Topping this year’s list of winners was wheel and hub manufacturer Consolidated MetCo of Monroe, N.C., which has received the award 19 out of 22 years.
