Canadians among PACCAR Leasing’s best managers

BELLEVUE, WA- Two Canadians were honored as some of PACCAR Leasing’s best managers of 2015 at the company’s maintenance management seminar held in Anaheim, California.

Kelly Whyte, of C.T.S. Lease and Rental, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, was named Kenworth service manager of the year for the Canadian region and Antonio Racioppo, of Cervus Equipment Peterbilt, formerly known as Peterbilt Ontario Truck Centres, in London, Ontario was named Peterbilt service manager of the year, Canadian region.

“Maintenance is a critical component for lease customers in order for them to minimize downtime,” said Rick Tapp, PacLease’s maintenance manager. “Our technicians work on Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks, they’re factory-trained, and know the truck models inside and out. System wide, uptime for our customers is a key focus.”

Other winners include

Service manager of the year:

  • Robert Elliott of Rush Truck Leasing in Tampa Bay, Fla., was named Peterbilt service manager of 2015;
  • Buddy Newton of MHC Truck Leasing in Colorado Springs, Colo., was named Kenworth service manager of 2015. 

Regional winners:

  • Vic Macias of Inland PacLease  of Fontana, Calif., Kenworth west region;
  • Dean Hendricks, JX PacLease  of Waukesha, Wisc., Peterbilt east region.
