MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Cancom Tracking, a provider of mobile communications, has announced the launch of a fleet management system with QA’s highly integrated in-cab, back-office and satellite/wireless LAN solution for fleet tracking and management.
Cancom/QA solution is a fully integrated that will include the MVPc in-vehicle computers with QA Technologies’ Accutre on-board plus AccutreQ fleet applications software for back office functions. This integrated application delivers driver and vehicle performance management, electronic driver logs, fuel tax reporting, activity management and GPS-based location capabilities. The solution includes custom features and integration capabilities for corporate processes such as dispatch, maintenance, payroll and inventory. It enables users to access fleet operations data and to manage its distribution resources in real-time, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimum fleet utilization, improved safety and reduced environmental impact.
Frito-Lay Canada, a division of PepsiCo, have fully integrated their transportation division using this solution from Cancom/QA.
