MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Cancom Tracking, a leader in mobile communications for the Canadian transportation industry, celebrated its 15th anniversary with one of its original customers this week.

Challenger Motor Freight shared in the celebration as the first transportation company to invest in Cancom’s OmniTRACS(r) Real-time Satellite Fleet Management System in 1990.

Today, Challenger has over 1,200 units and all divisions of their fleet are OmniTRACS equipped.

“It’s a true testament of longevity and stability for both Cancom and Challenger to be celebrating a 15 year anniversary, especially in such an volatile industry,” said Mike Ham, vice president of Cancom Tracking.

“Challenger purchased a technology over 15 years ago that provided them with the solution they needed and it continues to evolve to meet their needs today.”
