CarriersEdge develops kids charity online tool

CAMBRIDGE, Ont. — A Canadian Online driver training software provider is helping Kids Alive International (KAI), a non-profit organization providing Christian care to children at risk around the world, to release its Online Global Policy Manual.

CarriersEdge designed and developed the Online Global Policy Manual, the first program of its kind in North to train field staff at KAI missions around the world. About 1000 hours of work over 18 months was donated.

KAI programs rescue suffering children-in-crisis all over the world, operating in more than a dozen developing countries such as Zambia, Kenya, Peru, and Myanmar.

“Kids Alive International was looking for a way to provide a compelling, effective educational experience to our field staff around the world,” said Scott Forbes, executive director of Kids Alive International Canada. “With their donation of time to build this program, CarriersEdge has given us an outstanding tool for supporting our growth and we’re grateful for their generous gift.”

Added Mark Murrell, president of CarriersEdge: “(KAI) has shown exceptional vision by adopting online tools for this program and we’re extremely pleased to be able to support them.”
