TRURO, N.S. — Lyle Davidson of Oceanside Carriers Ltd. is offering a $1000 cash reward for anyone who knows the whereabouts of his 1999 Lode King trailer that was stolen from his yard on Sept. 11.

It is a black 53-foot tridem stepdeck trailer with white steel bud wheels. The license plate is PT44733 and the vehicle insurance number is 2LDSD5333W9030401.

The trailer was taken from the yard located at 146 Lower Truro Rd. between midnight and 5 a.m. on Sept. 11.

Upon learning the trailer was missing, Davidson filed a report with Constable Brent McDonald of the Colchester-Bible Hill RCMP detachment.

"For a company our size it is quite a loss," said Davidson. "It’s a $25,000 to$30,000 trailer to me and it is finally paid for, and it’s also about what it generates for me, that trailer generates $20,000 a year for me, so not only is my trailer gone but that revenue per month is out of my system too."

Davidson, who runs 24 trucks under the Oceanside Carrier name, has posted signs around the town to get the word out there that $1000 cash is up for grabs.

To notify Davidson of the location of his missing trailer, or for more details, please call him at 902-895-1234.
