PEORIA, Ill. — Caterpillar has announced the appointment of Nancy Bingham as marketing supervisor for Caterpillar On-Highway Engines.

In her new role Bingham will supervise marketing activities for on-highway engines, including advertising, press relations, trade shows and other communication efforts. She also is responsible for the supervision and development of pre-field representatives for Caterpillar Power Systems North America.

Bingham, a 24-year veteran of Caterpillar, previously managed communication efforts for the Caterpillar Global Mining Team, including dealer and customer training, marketing, advertising and trade shows. Her responsibilities included working closely with key mining organizations to enhance Caterpillar industry partnerships. Company officials say Bingham’s experience with the global mining team put her at the forefront of many Caterpillar sustainable development activities.

“With many years of marketing experience and a strong background with Caterpillar, Nancy will bring considerable expertise and a fresh perspective to Cat on-highway engine marketing efforts,” said Steve Brown, director of marketing, On-Highway Engines, Caterpillar Power Systems North America.
