Owners of Catepillar-powered used trucks can now take advantage of the engine maker’s new Truck Owner Protection Plan (TOPP). It covers 100% parts and labor for all failures and wear-outs on Cat 3406E, C-16, C-15, C-12, and C-10 engines, at fixed rates for the length of the contract. It’s available in 12-month/100,000-mile increments up to 650,000 miles, with multiple-year combinations offered within that upper limit. Eligibility requires that an authorized Cat service facility perform an inspection and handle any needed repairs. Each TOPP customer has an assigned factory customer-service rep who will expedite all repairs and mantain a service history. Reps are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
