OTTAWA, Ont. — CCRA has published a recap of AMPS contraventions to the week of Feb. 23 and since the inception of the program.

Carefully assessing the penalties issued will help member firms to plan accordingly for full compliance, the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association advises.

It adds that the following contraventions deserve particular attention from our members: C005 (correct permit information), C007 (appropriate bar code), C008 (correct carrier code), C033 (proper export authorization), C069 (removed unreleased goods from warehouse), C170 (failed to report prior to export), C274 (reported goods prior to arrival).
