Central Tire Inflation System now available

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — The Dana Spicer Central Tire Inflation (CTI) System is for Sterling L-Line vehicles.

The factory-installed technology gives truck operators the flexibility to quickly and easily change tire pressure while in motion.

CTI operates by using air from the vehicle’s on-board compressor. Steer and drive tire pressures are microprocessor-controlled to maximize traction.

This technology is designed to be adaptable to the vehicle load condition – empty or full. It also offers three selectable pressure modes: Highway, which allows for high-speed travel on paved surfaces; Off-Highway, which allows for easy operation on unpaved surfaces; and Emergency, which provides extra low tire pressure to help free a stuck vehicle or to better handle other extreme conditions.

For more information about the Central Tire Inflation System or for a directory of Sterling’s expanded dealer network, call (800) 358-7624, or visit Sterling’s Web site at www.sterlingtrucks.com
