TORONTO, Ont. — The Canadian Fleet Maintenance Seminar (CFMS) is teaming up with the American Trucking Associations Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) in hosting the 2007 event.

The TMC is a well-respected and influential body of maintenance professionals. The organization celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. CFMS will be hosting its 44th seminars in 2007.

We have a lot in common with the TMC and this will allow our delegates to increase their knowledge of the trucking industry south of the border and in turn, we can do the same for them here in Canada, CFMS officials announced in a release.

The TMC holds its own successful maintenance conference each year in Tampa, Flat. It has also hosted events in Mexico and the United Kingdom. The group produces the widely-used Policy and Procedures Manuals.
