Chalmers succeeds Scott at head of PBB Global Logistics

FORT ERIE, Ont. Ken Chalmers has stepped up into the president and CEO’s role at PBB Global Logistics following the retirement of Mike Scott.

Chalmers has been involved with PBB for over 20 years, initially serving as legal advisor for the company. He joined PBB’s executive team in 2002 and has served on the Board since the time of the company’s initial public offering (IPO). Most recently, Chalmers held the position of PBB’s Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for working with PBB’s operating divisions to improve processes, integrate services and improve margins. As well, Mr. Chalmers has played a key role in the company’s plans for strategic growth through acquisitions including the acquisitions of Clarke Logistics, Unicity Integrated Logistics, Unicity Customs Services and Carrier Connection International.

Scott had spent 25 years with PBB.

Chalmers has an LL.M. (Alternative Dispute Resolution) from Osgoode Hall law school. Prior to joining PBB Global Logistics, Chalmers was counsel with the law firm of Miller Thomson LLP. Previously, he was a partner in the law firms of Crossley Mann and Holden Day Wilson.
