CILTNA appoints new board members

OTTAWA, Ont. — The Ottawa Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – North America (CILTNA) has announced the election of the following Board members for 2005-2006:

President: Elly Meister, Vice President Public Affairs, Canadian Trucking Alliance

Past President & Treasurer: Malcolm Cairns, Director Business Research, Canadian Pacific Railway

Secretary: Thomas L. Maville, TL Maville & Associates Inc.

Communications: Colin Hick, TL Maville & Associates Inc.

Public Affairs: Robert Taylor, Director Federal Government Affairs, Canadian Pacific Railway

Director at Large: David Hackston, Partner, Research & Traffic Group

David Church, Director Transportation & Recycling, Forest Products Association of Canada

The Chartered Institute of Transport has over 30,000 members worldwide in 28 countries. The CILT in North America has Regional Chapters in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico with members from all sectors of transport including the private sector, various levels of government, the academic world and the armed forces. Its role is to promote the recognition of excellence in transportation through education, public forums and liaison throughout the transport industry.
