CITT’s Montreal chapter elects new board

MONTREAL, Que. — CITT’s Montreal Area Council has elected its new board executives for 2011. The results are as follows:

-Chair : Valerie McSween (vice-president Eastern Region, Mactrans Logistics)

-Vice-chair: Richard Gaudette (business development director, Metro Canada Logistics)

-Treasurer: Victor Charbonneau (manager, distribution centre, MABE)

-Secretary: Véronique Morey (logistics coordinator, CN Supply Chain Solutions)

Other directors-at-large include:

-Jean-Pierre Castel

-Daniel Vendette

“With Reposition 2011 being in Montreal, we have an important year in front of us,” said McSween. “We hope to break attendance records for this year’s annual conference. Our members are putting a great amount of energy in building the future success of the CITT in the province of Quebec. I’ve been on the council for six years and this will be my third year as chair, I have never seen such a solid council and look forward to working with each member of this great team.

“Having also recently been nominated as director-at-large on the National Council of the CITT, I plan to share the ideas of our national level with our local council and vice-versa.”
