Clarke Inc. announces management changes

TORONTO, Ont. — Clarke Inc.President and Chief Executive Officer Darell Hornby is leaving the Canadian provider of freight transportation and logistics services.

Until further notice, George Armoyan, Chairman will be acting President and Chief Executive Officer, and as a result the Board of Directors will be appointing a new Chairman while Armoyan is acting President & CEO.

Hornby started his 19-year tenure with Clarke in 1984 as Western Regional Manager for Clarke Transport, then a Division of Newfoundland Capital Corporation. He was promoted to Vice-President of the division in 1990, and President and Chief Operating Officer in 1991.

Effective with the Company’s IPO and listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 1998, Darell was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Clarke Inc. November of 2002 marked his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
