Clarke names CFO
HALIFAX — Clarke Inc. — a diversified company with extensive holdings in trucking — has appointed Blair Cook Chief Financial Officer, effective March 31, 2008.
President and CEO George Armoyan said this week Cook will replace the current CFO, Neil Morley, who will be leaving Clarke at that time.
Cook brings to Clarke years of financial management experience as well as hands on experience assessing investment opportunities and implementing value creation strategies.
For the last year, Cook has been the Chief Financial Officer for Armco Capital, a private group of companies that operates a number of real estate businesses and land development projects and has been named one of
Canada’s 50 Best-Managed Companies for a number of years running.
