VANCOUVER — CN has entered a supply chain collaboration agreement with TSI Terminal Systems, in the rail companies increased efforts at working with others to improve the supply chain.

Earlier this year, CN’s assistant vice-president of sales and marketing Peter Ladouceur said the company was going to improve its image and address business in a more customer-friendly manner.

Shortly after, as numerous stakeholders suggested improvements to the national rail system during the Transport Canada Rail Freight Service Review, CN decided to partner with Port Metro Vancouver to further drive efficiencies at the port.

This latest agreement with Vancouver’s TSI Terminal Systems is another effort from the rail company to enhance service levels and draw greater volumes of container traffic over Port Metro Vancouver. A MOU has been signed that will drive strong mutual focus on system efficiencies, improved communication, and close monitoring of their gateway performance.

"TSI is an important partner of CN in serving the international steamship container lines calling at Port Metro Vancouver,” said Claude Mongeau, president and CEO of CN. “This agreement aims to improve supply chain performance at the Port by establishing a close working relationship with TSI in support of increased efficiency and service innovation."
