TORONTO, Ont. — CN freight traffic may be delayed, due to a derailment on Friday between Montreal and Toronto.

The CN train derailed near Brighton West, early March 4. The incident, which occurred on the Kingston subdivision of CN’s main line has affected CN trains running between Montreal and Toronto, reports the Canadian Freight Forwarders Association.

According to CN estimates, the site was to be passable by noon March 5.

But even though efforts were made to detour affected traffic around the derailment site in the meantime, delays could affect freight traffic through today.
