Thermo King’s new global positioning Trac-King system tracks asset locations and monitors perishable loads throughout the entire cold chain.
Designed especially for long-haul customers who transport temperature-sensitive loads, the system provides real-time asset location and fleet monitoring, unit performance information, increased freight security and significantly improved asset utilization.
Trac-King enables customers to track crucial information from anywhere in the world via the Internet, including the location of trailers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By accessing Trac-King’s web site interface, dispatchers can scan an entire fleet and improve scheduling efficiency by knowing the exact location and operating status of each trailer as well as the location of the nearest Thermo King dealer if servicing is required.
The system also notifies the customer of unauthorized movement, route deviation and trailer door openings.
