The award recognizes outstanding companies which have sustained a standard of excellence and leadership in all areas of their business practices, and have qualified in the award program for at least six consecutive years.

"What we found striking about this year’s Platinum Club award recipients is a strong propensity for taking risk and adopting best practices to remain competitive in the marketplace," said Tony Grnak, Deloitte partner and national leader, Canada’s 50 Best Managed 50 Companies.

Twenty one companies in total were honored with the Platinum Award.

Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies is sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC Commercial Banking, National Post and Queen’s School of Business.
