COMPETITION WATCH: Bison to host safety week events

WINNIPEG, Man. — Bison Transport is holding a week-long safety event in coordination with North American Occupational Safety and Health Week.

The event will kick off May 3 and will include organized activities hosted and coordinated by Bison’s health and safety committee, the company announced. Bison’s Health and Safety Week will focus on and include: a speed watch program; massage therapists; special guests; obstacle course challenges; and other activities.

“The goal of Health and Safety Week is to focus employers, employees, partners and the public on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community,” the company said in a release. “Health and safety are both top priorities and part of Bison’s core values.”
