BELLEVILLE, Ont. — Meyers Transportation Services has announced that Mortrans, its truckload division, has reached an agreement to purchase Dickson Transport in Napanee, Ont.

Like Meyers, Dickson Transport has an 80-year history of providing transportation services to customers in the Napanee, Belleville and Kingston areas. From their hub in Napanee, they offer Truckload service between Ontario, Quebec and the US.

“Both Mortrans and Dickson share the same family values, integrity, and common goals of providing the highest level of customized service available for their customers,” officials said in a release. “With Todd and Tracey Dickson and the majority of their driving force joining the Mortrans’ team, a smooth transition for Dickson’s customers is ensured.”
