PRESCOTT, Ont. — Kriska Holdings Limited has purchased the shares of Lavigne Truck Lines effective today. Lavigne has been a family owned and operated company for 20 years in the Ottawa area, much like Kriska.

The purchase of Lavigne fits perfectly with our strategy of adding quality customers, quality revenue and quality people to our organization, says Mark Seymour, president and CEO of Kriska. There is no immediate plan to integrate the two companies but rather to use the strengths and the synergies to improve the service offerings to our customers, both internal and external.

Chris Lavigne will continue as president of Lavigne Truck Lines.

Kriska operates close to 400 power units across Canada and the US and Lavigne operates 40 power units within Canada only.
