COMPETITION WATCH: Lowe’s awards TST Overland Express

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — TST Overland Express has been acknowledged by Lowe’s with a Platinum Service Award for its 2009 performance.

TST was one of only three LTL recipiences of the award from across North America, the company announced.

TST hs been a core carrier for Lowe’s since it moved into Canada in 2007. It handles both domestic and cross-border shipments.

“This award is a true reflection of our team’s dedication to our customers’ requirements,” said Rob O’Reilly, president, TST Overland Express. “We work hard to maintain our industry leadership position in the ways that matter most to our customers.”

TST said it will continue working with Lowe’s as it expands its Canadian presence, to ensure its supply chain continues to run smoothly.
