GUELPH, Ont. — MacKinnon Transport Inc. has secured a long-term lease, which will allow expansion of its logistics services to present and future clients.

The new facility (located minutes from the main terminal) consists of 87,000 square feet of warehouse space, 10 acres of land and 15,000 of office space.

MacKinnon says it has grown rapidly over a short period of time and this acquisition will provide the space and opportunity to accommodate the continual increase of personnel as well as meet the needs of customers.

Once renovations have been completed the MacKinnon Global Logistics and Sales departments will relocate.

This new facility increases MacKinnon’s inside warehousing capabilities by 200%, allows the LTL (Less Than Load) department continued expansion and enhances outside storage capacity.
