ALDERSYDE, Alta. — Mullen Transportation has closed the deal, acquiring B.C.-based Tenold Transportation.

Tenold will now operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mullen. The company’s current management team will remain on-board to oversee operations.

Tenold provides long haul flatbed truckload and LTL services in Canada and the U.S. It also provides logistics, warehousing and distribution services. It’s also one of Western Canada’s largest transporters of heavy machinery, equipment, pipe and bulk materials. Tenold operates 125 power units and trailers (most of its tractors are controlled by owner/operators.)
